Google Plus Finally Open to All

After a few months of teasing people, Google+ has finally launched the full site allowing anyone but business to register.
Limiting businesses includes limiting google app users. This is a huge problem for many people who’d like to use their google address book from google apps for their google+ account. It also makes finding people more difficult. Yes, there are work-arounds, but google needs to make things as easy and simple as possible to start if they want to convince people to abandon facebook for google plus.

Some people doubt Google’s ability to compete with facebook, but some people doubted google before there was google. Then people doubted google when they went to make a phone. Remember friendster? How about myspace? With the history of social networks quickly losing popularity with the release of a newer, better platform, it’s hard to imagine Facebook’s demise as an if rather than a when.
